Hamburger Containerboard sees its role as that of offering its partners, based all over Europe, far more than just a complete programme of high-quality products. Collective thinking and acting have always formed the foundation for the successful growth of the company and for its guarantee to offer customers the very best quality and service on a sustained basis. The philosophy behind our distribution system - everything from one source - provides our customers with a market-oriented and forward-looking palette of excellent corrugated board base paper products.
Innovative measures in techniques and production, combined with a high regard for environmentally sound practices, have become vital components of our corporate strategy. Our "Flexible - Committed - Customer-centred" approach to operations enables all staff to respond to customers requests swiftly and to deal with them with the utmost efficiency.
The medium-term goal is to produce 2 mill. t of containerboard. Our Austroliner, RiegerLiner and SpreeWhite brands are known and valued throughout Europe. The expansion into lightweight products completes the whole range of recycled packaging papers. Of the 1.6 mill. t total annual capacitiy the group itself will process 0.5 to 0.6 mill t. of paper and offer 0.9 to 1.0 mill. t to the european market.
